In the vicinity of Akama-juku, there remains the birthplace of Sazan Mitsui, founder of Mitsui & Co.
Built in the mid-Meiji era, this residence is registered as a tangible cultural property of Japan, representing the architectural style of that time. While generally not open to the public, you can admire its exterior.
