Course highlights

<Whale Watching>
At 10-15m in length and weighing 30 tons, the humpback whale is one of the largest mammals in the world. While in summer they make the Bering Sea their feeding grounds, in winter they swim the long way to Okinawa to give birth and raise their young. Humpback whales are distinguished by their unusually long chest fins, which slaps the water as they rise up to the surface. On this tour, you can see the graceful swaying of their tail fins as they retreat back into the sea.
Of course, the number one joy of whale watching is seeing the whales breach the water! The sight of such a giant animal dancing through the air is truly a moving one. If you're lucky, maybe you'll be able to see the whole thing - it will make for a great memory!

Important notices

For ages 4-60 years old, in good health
* Children 12 years of age or younger must be accompanied by adults.
* Those who are pregnant or intoxicated will not be allowed on board.
* Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting wet. Please also bring a towel and change of clothes.
* The air may get colder as we head out to sea, so we also recommend bringing a thick jacket or coat with you.
* Please do not wear high heels or shoes in which you might slip.
* If you get seasick easily, we ask that you please take any anti-sickness medicine before boarding.
