We will walk around all 5 lakes which are surrounded by lively forest.
As we move between lakes we will enjoy a peaceful walk through the rich forest and look for animals.

*Please be note that, 23 Apr-09 May, we might not able to walk around all 5 lakes because of road conditions.

8:30 am Shiretoko Nature Office(If you are staying in the Utoro Area we can come and get you).

9:10am-12:10pm Travel by car 20min to the location. 5 lakes walking tour.

12:40pm Finish at Shiretoko Nature Office(If you are staying in the Utoro Area we can drop you off).

* Depending on various conditions the start and finish time can change by 30min or so.
* From May 10-July 31 the entire course will takes approx. 4hrs and 10-20min.

Our staff will communicate and guide you in simple English. Thank you for your understanding.

Participants must be 5yrs or older.
If there are bear appearances we may have to change the planned path.
We will continue in the rain.
Please bring water-proof clothing.
If there are reports of paths closed due to weather or warnings issued there are times we have to cancel the tour.
* Our on location staff only speak Japanese and a little basic English. Any questions must be made in either Japanese or English.
