②8:45 Arrived at Inariyama Tea Garden Park, Tea field, Tea-picking experience + chatumimusume costume experience and taking pictures by themselves

③9:45 Move to Aoiseicha on foot

④9:55-10:20 Aoiseicha tea factory tour

⑤From 10:20 to 11:00 Experience Matcha Tea Point After the experience, move to Nishio Station by taxi

⑥11:15 Arrival at Nishio Station

Course highlights

■In this tour you can experience with your five senses how high-quality matcha is produced in Nishio, the place where matcha is produced, along with Uji.Nishio City accounts for 20% of Japan's matcha production and is one of the largest matcha production areas along with Kyoto Uji.

Matcha contains many ingredients that are good for health and beauty. Especially the Nishio matcha is rich in theanine which is an umami ingredient and it also contains a relaxing effect.Learn about the history of Nishio Matcha, which has been around for 800 years, and how to produce high-quality Matcha from a local guide.

First of all, you can do tea picking at the special tea field that won the best prize of 2019 tea fair in Japan.Take a photo shoot in a tea plantation wearing a traditional Chabuki Musume costume.

Next, with the well-established "Aoi Seicha" that produces matcha from tea leaves.

We will deepen our understanding by visiting a manufacturing factory that grinds green tea (raw material for matcha) with a stone mill. At the factory you can actually ground matcha in a traditional way.

You can do match tasting experience on the spot. Finally, you can experience the casual matcha ceremony using "Nishio no Matcha" you can make your own match and drink with Japanese sweets. The local guide also gives you a special tea lecture.

Let's enjoy the taste of Nishio matcha and learn the Japanese heart of tea.
