13:00 Wagashi (Traditional Japanese sweets) Lesson (1 hour)

Each season(every month) will be offered different sweets to make, so if you come to join every month, you may become a professional sweets chef.

■Each seasons' menu example
Spring: Nanohana and sakura flowers, olive-green birds
Summer: Blue-flag flower, China-pink flower, morning-bells
Autumn: Daisy, Maple, Ginkgo nut
Winter: Plum flower, camellia, pine needles

14:00 Matcha Tea and Sweets Time (15 mins)
Please enjoy tasting one of your sweets with a cup of green matcha tea!

Course highlights

How about experience making traditional Japanese sweets at a 100 years long established store "Kanshundo".
Beginners are welcome! Our professional sweets chef will teach you step by step. Children are also welcome to join, so this is suitable for family together.

Even if you do not like sweets but would like to join, you can! You can bring back sweets you made.

There are Sanjusangen-do, Toyokuni-jinja shrine, Hokok-ji temple, Kiyomizu-dera and so much popular tourist spots, you can visit before or after the lesson.

Important notices

*Participants have to be over age 6
*Except chartered lesson, age 5 or under are not able to join.
*We have English, Chinese or Korean text book. If you need, please inform us when you book.
*Please come to shop at least 10 minutes before lesson starts.
*Please be on time. If you are late, you may be not able to join the lesson.
*If you do not like mattcha, then we will provide normal green tea.
*Lesson will be held on 2nd floor without elevator.
*Ingredients do not include wheat, soba, milk, egg, shrimp, crab, peanut.
