Course highlights

The whole of Mount Koya is called the Sohonzan Kongobu-ji, and has become its 「one mountain precinct grounds」 Within the mountain are the two sacred areas of 「Okunoin」and「Danjo-garan」, and even today they draw in the faithful worship of the people. At Okunoin, apart from rows of gravestones there are also cenotaphs and memorial towers, and their tolerance in that they allow the burial of people regardless of their ethnicity and religion is a mentality that they have followed for 1200 years and also their charm.
【Ajikan (Meditation) Experience】The Ajikan is a meditation technique handed down by the Shingon sect of Buddhism. It is said that by focusing your mentality on the subject sanskrit letter of 「A」 and deepening your meditation, you will be blessed with a spiritual enlightenment.

Important notices

①During your reservation, please fill out and specify the following: Desired location of departure・Desired time of departure・The names and age of the participants・The language utilized by your accompanying tour conductor (English・Chinese・Korean)
②We kindly ask that you notify us earlier on should you have large baggage such as suitcases. Should there be no notifications beforehand and it happens that the luggage cannot be loaded onto the transportation, the customer, at their own expense, will have to use postal services or paid lockers to store their own luggage. Also, please be forewarned that we cannot accommodate any requests for transportation changes.
③There are no child seats available. Please be aware beforehand and we thank you for your patience.
④This tour does not include a dedicated tour guide or escort. A tour conductor will be present.
⑤In order to not be late at the gathering time of respective locations (such as field trip facilities), we ask that you please gather at the appropriate time. Should we all become late to the appointed gathering time due to the circumstances of customers and it becomes apparent that an extension of time is needed for the tour in general, there will be cases where they will incure separate additional fees and they will be billed to pay on the same day.
⑥We do not accommodate any requests to change the schedule of the appointed without any contact beforehand.
⑦Due to the state of the weather or the state of the roads or heavy congestion, there might be cases where we will have to unfortunately deviate from the original schedule. There will also be cases where the tour time-period will be pushed earlier or later than planned due to the state of the road and weather, and sudden shutdowns of respective facilities. Should you have flights or Shinkansen reservations after the tour, we ask that you please establish your touring schedule with flexibility of time in mind. Our company will not take any responsibility should you be unable to board your planned flight or Shinkansen. Please be aware beforehand and we thank you for your patience.
⑧While the transportation is driving, please make sure that you have your seatbelt fastened at all times after taking your seat.
⑨Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle.
⑩While bringing in your own foods and drinks is possible, please make sure to bring the resulting garbage home with you.
⑪Lunch is included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate vegetarian and halal options. For those who suffer from food-related allergies, please inform us beforehand. We will not be able to accommodate any situations related to it at the appointed day. Furthermore, we will not bear any liability if you did not inform us beforehand and anything happens. Thank you for your understanding.
⑫There are might be cases where the tour will be canceled due to inclement weather or occurrences of natural disaster. Should that happen. you will receive a refund of the travel fee. The refund will proceed to the credit card you have used when you made your payments.
⑬No wheelchairs are available. Should you have need of it, we ask that you please prepare it on your own.
⑭We ask that you please manage your own valuables. Our company will not take responsibility should there be any damages or losses of said valuables.
⑮Should you desire a location that is not included in the model course, please confer with us beforehand. In some cases this may involve a change in price.
