In many locations around the world, Sea Turtles are thought to bring good luck, or to be the heralds of deities.
So why not swim together in the blue seas of Miyakojima while being soothed by adorable Sea Turtles!

We investigated the inner and outer reefs of Miyakojima to find the safest location with the highest possibility of encountering the Sea Turtles.

*We ask for your understanding in the rare occasion that the seas suddenly become too rough, or one or more of the participants feel unwell and we have to stop the tour prematurely.
[Feature 2] Beginners and young children will be completely fine.
We ensure to cater our teaching to each of our participants with an emphasis on politeness. For young children or those that cannot swim, we prepare floats andunderwater viewing goggles attached to flotation devices. We ensure that nobody is left behind or left out.

[Feature 3] Memorable photos with the Sea Turtles
When we are explaining the swimming/diving techniques we will also teach you the best way to pose with the turtles and best times to get photos. Those with advanced skills may like to dive below the surface and swim alongside the Sea Turtles.

Although we will do our best to send the photos on the day, or the day after, there are busy periods when it may take some time. We appreciate your understanding.
*There are times when we can capture over 100 photos. However, as both the Sea Turtles and participants are moving subjects, when conditions are not good enough we may only be able to capture around 10 clear photos. We appreciate your understanding.

Information regarding unforseen weather circumstances:
If weather is exceptionally bad (pouring rain, thunder, lightning), the seas are too rough, or there is a typhoon approaching the tour will be cancelled. In general, we will contact you before 8PM on the day before the tour. If the weather forecast turns out to be inaccurate and weather conditions are bad, there are cases when the tour will be cancelled on the day.
Ages 2 ~ 80 (If you are planning to book with participants under the age of 5, or over the age of 65, we ask that you consider their safety and book a private tour.)
We are only able to accomodate booking enquiries and tours in Japanese or English.

Its my first time and I feel uncertain...
Rest assured! Everybody is nervous or uncertain at first. If you keep an open mind and are up to the challenge, you can enjoy the tour at your own pace even if its your first time snorkeling. The staff will instruct and assist you politely, and kindly.
Can I join the tour even though I can't swim?
Rest assured! You will be equipped with a wet suit, lifejacket and we will carry a large ring shaped float so it is possible to reach the location with Sea Turtles even if you cannot swim. The wet suit and lifejacket are sure to keep you afloat no matter what.
Will I be a nuisance to other participants since its my first time?
It will be fine! The guide will always remain at the front and move at an appropriate pace so that no one is left behind. Since the aim of the tour is to find the Sea Turtles, it is not a fast paced experience to begin with. You will have plenty of time to kick back and enjoy the ocean. If you still feel unsure, please enquire about a private booking.
Can I dive under the surface with the snorkel (skin dive)?
We also provide instruction for skin diving (diving beneath the surface while holding your breath) for free, so please feel free to ask the staff on the day of your participation.
Can I snorkel even during my period?
If you do happen to be on your period, there is no issue with your participation as long as the symptoms (pains, cramps) are not too severe. Although we reccomend tampons if you do happen to be on your period, the sanitary product that you use is at your discretion. Regardless, we reccommend that you replace your sanitary product as soon as possible after the snorkeling experience.
Are there changing rooms, showers and toilets near the snorkeling location?
As it is a secret spot, there are no changing rooms, showers or toilets near the location. Please arrive at the meeting point in your swimming gear. There is a toilet at the meeting point. We do have water prepared for you to wash your feet and hair.
Can I join the tour even with an ongoing medical condition?
If you do have an ongoing medical condition, we require you to bring a doctors note stating that you are allowed to swim.
Can I join the tour even though I am pregnant?
Although it is possible that it could be safe at later stages in pregnancy, we refuse to take pregnant participants as a safety precaution.
Do you reccommend morning, or evening?
The location of the Turtles changes day to day based on the tide. Our veteran guides will pinpoint the location of the Turtles every time! Although some days see more contact with the turtles than others, there are very few people who choose a date/time based on the tide so please feel free to choose a time that is convinient for you.
