    Asahiyama zoo is the northernmost zoo in Japan, which is located in Asahikawa city, Hokkaido. Generally zoos in Japan focus on just the exhibition of animals. However, the Asahiyama Zoo focuses on exhibition of the animals’ behavior so that visitors can watch real life behavior of animals. This dramatic style of exhibition made the zoo famous. The zoo is mostly crowded with families, dating couples, and other visitors. More than 1.65 million visitors came to the zoo in the fiscal year of 2013.

    In the hilly country of Biei, due to the blessings of the Tokachidake mountain range there are many mysterious and fascinating places, and the Biei blue pond is one of them. After an eruption in 1988, a pond was constructed to help deal with volcanic sand erosion, and when water from the river began to accumulate there something interesting happened by chance. Initially, entrance was prohibited, but in 2010 it was opened to the public and it has become a very popular tourist sight.

    Tomita Farm is a farmland located in Furano-cho, Hokkaido. Lavender and various colorful flowers are planted on the farm, and they are in their full glory from spring to autumn. There are many facilities on the farmland: display areas for flower arrangements, a gallery exhibiting photos of the flowers of the four seasons on the farm, a museum, a distillery house where lavender essential oil is extracted, gift shops and cafes. Walking around the flower gardens is free throughout the year, from sunrise to sunset.

The city of Furano has recently received large amounts of popularity from foreign tourists.
The city’s main attraction is its weather. Even in August, the hottest month of the year, temperatures do not exceed 27 degrees Celsius. Large numbers of tourists are drawn to see the lavender fields that bloom from early to the end of July.

During autumn, the temperature peaks to around 21 degrees Celsius. Come October, the temperature begins to cool down further so a warm jacket is needed for the cold.

  • Q.What should I do with my suitcase and large baggage on the day?
  • A.We will keep the trunks of the bus. However, there is no compensation in case of damage, so please leave it at your own responsibility.
  • Q.Can I stop participating in the tour?
  • A.You can leave the group before the tour ends. Please make sure to tell the bus guide on the day that you will leave. However, we will not refund the tour fee for the post-departure process. Also, please note that you will be responsible for the cost of transportation, accommodation and meals.
  • Q.Are the seats next to each other?
  • A.Basically, it is close to the next door or front and back. However, please note that there is a bus tour with non-reserved seats.
  • Q.Can I reserve a seat in advance?
  • A.As a general rule, we do not accept seat reservations. It is a guide or unreserved seat on the day.
  • Q.When preschool childs board same bus, Do I have to pay for it?
  • A.It depends on the tour. If there is no particular fare category or description, you can ride on the bus on your lap, but there is no seat for your child.
  • Q.What happens if the plane/train is late and not in time?
  • A.Basically, if you can't get on the plane or train due to the delay, there will be no refund. Please make a reservation with plenty of time in advance.
  • Q.Is there a toilet in the bus?
  • A.There is no toilet in the basic bus.
