Akiyoshi Cave (Special Natural Monument), with a total length of 10.7 kilometers, is the second longest stalactite cave in Japan and one of the largest in Japan. It is located 100 meters underground in Akiyoshidai National Park, and has a sightseeing route about 1 kilometer long. Because it is a stalactite cave, the cave is cool at 17 degrees all year round. Even in summer and winter, with warm winters and cool summers, the environment here is very comfortable. There are many stalagmites and stalactites in the cave, as well as terraces formed by huge limestones. These are valuable geological specimens. Akiyoshi Cave was formed more than 1 million years ago. Motonosumi Inari Shrine was once selected by CNN as one of the most beautiful places in Japan. Motonosumi Inari Shrine, located in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, has an endless torii tunnel. These 123 red torii gates extend along the hillside to the edge of the cliff, forming a beautiful scene with the blue sky, green land and blue ocean. The landscape is quite magnificent.
★Challenging cash box
When visiting a shrine, you usually prepare some sesame oil money. However, it is not easy to pay tribute to sesame oil money at Motonosumi Inari Shrine. The money box here is set on the torii gate 6 meters above the ground. It’s no exaggeration to say that Japan’s most difficult money box is one to bet in. Those who can successfully put it in are really very lucky, and their wishes will surely have good omens! Don’t worry if you can’t make a bet. There is also a regular-height betting box next to the shrine where you can place bets.
★The spectacular view of Ryugu no Squirt (Ryuugu no Squirt)
Another unique sight in winter is the "Ryugu no Squirting" located next to the shrine. Whenever a big wave breaks into the gap in the rock wall, it will produce a sound like a roaring dragon. When the north wind blows, the waves can even reach a height of 30 meters. When viewed from a distance, it seems like a dragon flying in the air. The sun shines at just the right angle, and you can see the rainbow up close, which is breathtaking!

Tsunoshima Bridge, often featured in TV commercials, is one of the most beautiful bridges in Japan. Tsunoshima Bridge is free and open to motor vehicle traffic. The 1,780-meter-long bridge spans the azure sea. The spectacular bridge and the blue color of the sea water and the consistent beauty are extraordinary!
